The HATS STEDTRAIN Committee held their Final Reports Conference for 2024-25 Seed Grants on Saturday, 26 April 2025. Vice Chair Paul Agarwal hosted the conference, and COL Joseph Heyman, Acting Deputy Chief of Staff G-6 Chief Information Officer was the guest speaker.
Any teacher in a public or State approved k-12 school within Jackson, Madison, Marshall, Morgan, and Limestone Counties in Alabama and Lincoln County in Tennessee may submit a proposal.
STEDTRAIN is pleased to announce the award of 8 Seed Grants to area teachers to support STEM education in the classroom for the 2024-25 School Year.
The STEDTRAIN Committee is accepting proposals for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Seed Grant 2024-25 school year projects.
The Committee will fund 10 Seed Grants to area teachers for STEM projects.
The STEDTRAIN final report conference provides the teachers with an end-of-school-year opportunity to discuss the goals of their STEM grants and to proudly show the results of their student’s hard work during the year. The conference also provides an opportunity to network and brainstorm with the other STEM teachers who won STETRAIN grants for the 2022-2023 school year.
The committee now begins the arduous task of reviewing and scoring the proposals, and raising funds to cover the awards.
