He began his academic career in 2006 as the laboratory technician in the only Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited Technology program in the state of Alabama since 1979. He completed his Masters degree in Industrial Technology Management in 2007. He has 30 + years industry experience in, aerospace, manufacturing, nuclear as well research and development. Research interest includes renewable energy, development of geothermal and thermoelectric energy harvesting.
